About the Role
Cleveland Clinic London is seeking a Billing Officer to join their Revenue Cycle Management Team. This role supports a culture of continuous improvement within the billing function and requires a positive, flexible team player with previous billing experience in a UK private hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide and maintain an efficient billing service in line with billing agreements and department targets.
- Perform billing reviews, claim submission, and deal with account queries.
- Review unbilled accounts and produce/submit invoices for hospital charges and consultant fees.
- Investigate and resolve account queries with embassies, patients, private medical insurance companies, and other third-party payers.
- Handle account adjustments and refunds.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum GCSE/High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous billing experience within a UK private hospital environment.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Proven knowledge and awareness of current legal confidentiality legislation.
- Experience with UK private hospital billing systems and Healthcode is preferred.
