About the Role
This is an Associate role on LGT Capital Partners' dedicated Secondaries Team, focusing on a $7.4 billion investment fund. The role is career-track, not a two-year program, and offers exposure to multi-GP-led transactions and LP-led portfolios across Buyout, Growth, and VC.
Responsibilities
- Manage the investment process, including intake, screening, and logging of opportunities.
- Conduct initial investment due diligence and information collection.
- Perform underwriting, including pricing multi-asset GP-led and traditional secondary LP funds.
- Analyze company valuation inputs.
- Gain exposure to both GP-led and LP-led transactions.
- Access private equity managers on an ongoing basis.
- Manage information, interpret data, and recognize patterns.
Requirements
- Prior experience in investment banking, consulting, or private investing is preferred.
- Strong interest in private equity investing and secondaries.
- Highly analytical with comfort managing large, complex datasets.
- Team-oriented with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable taking ownership in a lean and collaborative environment.
