About the Role
We are looking for someone to discover new talents and elevate our roster to the next level by signing artists in German rap and pop.
Responsibilities
- Discover new talents with a cross-genre feel for artists in German rap and pop.
- Follow current trends on social media and in the charts, and interpret data.
- Attend relevant events and maintain contact with artists and partners throughout Germany.
- Focus on long-term artist development and signing the next big talent, while also keeping an eye on short-term trends.
- Support artists from initial contact through negotiation, signing, and first releases, positioning them in the market.
- Ensure budgets are adhered to.
Requirements
- Passion for music and new developments.
- Digital know-how and team spirit.
- A feel for what's coming and staying ahead of the curve.
- Curiosity for new places and people.
- Willingness to be mobile and travel.
- Ability to take responsibility, especially during stressful times.
- Previous experience, potentially through internships in A&R management, with an established network.
- Ability to present oneself creatively in a CV or other format.
