About the Role

SpotOn is seeking a Senior Product and AI leader to drive strategy and execution for Marketing, Guest Data, Labor, and Shared Value product teams. This role involves significantly increasing organizational throughput by embedding AI into high-leverage workflows across various departments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow Marketing, Guest Data, Labor, and Shared Value product teams, driving strategy, roadmap, and execution in partnership with the C-Suite.
  • Dramatically increase organizational throughput by intelligently embedding AI into high-leverage workflows across Product, Engineering, Operations, Support, Sales, Marketing, and G&A.
  • Define product strategy for owned areas and influence overall product direction.
  • Manage and coach Product Managers in investigating market opportunities, building roadmaps, and making strategic adjustments.
  • Assess market competition, client preferences, emerging technologies, and industry trends to maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Develop creative product vision and design to author the future of the industry.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to elicit, rationalize, and prioritize requests for new functionality.
  • Build relationships with key business partners and serve as an evangelist for the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with product marketing on positioning and go-to-market strategies.
  • Audit workflows across departments to identify opportunities for AI-driven improvement.
  • Quantify impact of AI initiatives in terms of time saved, output increased, or decision cycles shortened.
  • Maintain a living AI opportunity roadmap aligned to company goals.
  • Rapidly build and deploy functional AI-powered tools and automations.
  • Launch AI pilots in days or weeks.
  • Partner with Engineering to productionize AI initiatives and define guardrails, governance, data handling standards, and monitoring processes.
  • Create internal AI playbooks and best practices, run enablement workshops, and elevate AI fluency.
  • Track adoption, cycle time reductions, and measurable throughput improvements, reporting impact to executive leadership.
  • Continuously test and leverage insights to inform decisions across the entire scope.
  • Serve as a cross-functional advisor to leaders seeking to accelerate their functions.
  • Present to multiple audiences ranging from groups of SMBs to seasoned investors and executives.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of relevant product management experience.
  • At least 2 years managing and coaching a team of Product Managers.
  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows in real-world environments.
  • Strong understanding of the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience designing and delivering quality products.
  • Experience and comfort operating in metrics-driven environments that leverage data to make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and how they interact with products.
  • Comfort managing teams through ambiguity, complexity, and imperfect information.
  • Startup or founder experience is a plus.
  • Experience building internal tools or automation systems is a plus.
  • Real product examples built with AI can be shared.
  • A track record of reducing cycle times or materially increasing team output is a plus.
  • Past restaurant experience is a plus, but not a hard requirement.
  • Work authorization in the U.S. is required.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
