About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Account Development Manager to focus on developing low and mid-tier client relationships across agencies and corporate meeting planners. This sales-focused role suits individuals with a background in event production or meeting planning looking to move into client development.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture relationships with agencies, planners, and event teams.
  • Actively network within the events community (MPI, industry groups, trade shows, and peer events).
  • Identify and grow new opportunities through trusted, long-term relationships.
  • Confidently discuss creative and technical solutions with producers and planners.
  • Stay informed on sector trends, client needs, and competitor activity.
  • Represent the company professionally at networking events and industry functions.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on pipeline and account development.

Requirements

  • Experienced in live events, production, experiential, or technical event delivery.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue and manage full sales cycles.
  • Hands-on knowledge of budgets, timelines, production, and onsite execution.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and building long-term relationships.
  • Established industry network and connections preferred.
  • Consultative approach to selling creative and technical solutions.
  • Flexible to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • A consultative, non-aggressive approach.
  • Commercial awareness and client focus.
  • Confidence in networking environments.
  • Self-motivated and organised.
  • Able to build trust with agencies and meeting planners.
  • Experience within the events, creative, or experiential sector.
  • Experience managing budgets, suppliers, timelines, or client relationships.
