About the Role
In this field sales role, you will be working directly with our Corporate and Private Equity clients to help them execute some of the most strategic and highly visible capital markets transactions in the world. You will be building relationships with key decision makers with enterprise clients and capital markets teams in Canada. You will partner with a highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment to drive solutions for M&A, Debt Capital Markets, Secure Document Exchanges, and Managed Services.
Responsibilities
- Nurture existing relationships and build new ones with corporate development teams, procurement, and C-suite contacts.
- Deliver unique Intralinks value propositions through field, phone, social media, and virtual engagement.
- Employ value-based conversations to arrive at differentiated solutions.
- Target prospects, grow pipeline, win profitable deals, and manage sales activities to create mutually beneficial relationships.
- Leverage Solution Selling techniques to drive the sales process and close opportunities through expert negotiation, contract management, and approval processes.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer value and experiences.
- Develop sales strategy and go-to-market plans, leveraging data to gain market share and prioritize accounts.
- Proactively research customer industry trends to provide value-added solutions.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and forecast through consistent outbound activities.
- Meet or exceed set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Advocate for customers by resolving escalations and influencing internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-4 years of proven sales and achievement of quota in a SaaS environment leveraging solution selling techniques.
- Experience in outbound outreach and strong in-field presence.
- Ability to successfully prospect, conduct client presentations and high-level demonstrations.
- Ability to manage an entire sales cycle to generate new business and grow existing revenue streams.
- Ability to adapt to your audience and tailor messaging based on customer seniority.
- Strong balance of account management, new business hunting, territory management, and communication skills.
- Highly collaborative with a positive attitude and strong cross-functional teamwork.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM and web-based technologies and tools.
- Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
- Must be able to provide a valid work or study permit, if selected for an interview.
