About the Role
Austin Oaks Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their dynamic team and make a lasting impact on the lives of patients. The role offers a supportive environment focused on crisis resolution, self-awareness, personal growth, and professional excellence within a continuum of psychiatric services.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of an average of 15 patients per day.
- Provide care in an Inpatient Adult / Women’s Specialty or Adolescent setting.
- Optional work in Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) & Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) available in the afternoons.
- Work a consistent Monday-Friday daytime schedule with minimal weekends and on-call requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovative and compassionate mental health care.
Requirements
- NP degree from an accredited and recognized program.
- Post graduate PMHNP certificate.
- Current Texas APRN license in good standing.
- Meet all credentialing criteria required by participating providers.
- 3+ years of prior PMHNP work experience (clinical rotations and preceptor hours not included).
