About the Role
The Global Corporates (GC) team, part of Banking Japan, manages relationships with blue-chip Japanese corporate clients, drives revenue growth through collaboration with global product partners, and oversees internal processes like credit risk management and KYC. Senior bankers lead client communication and internal processes, while junior bankers provide support.
Responsibilities
- Support senior management in identifying strategies to maintain/enhance overall relationship return.
- Ensure early identification of potential credit issues.
- Support the achievement of targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction, and cost containment.
- Maximize the revenues of customer portfolio and increase Bank’s share of wallet with clients.
- Identify marketing opportunities and prepare ad-hoc strategic analysis papers.
- Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal colleagues.
Requirements
- Experience in a multi-cultural corporate banking environment.
- Experience as a product specialist in cash management, trade finance, FX, market products, asset management, debt capital markets, or structured finance.
- Experience in financial statement analysis and credit risk management.
- Basic skills in MS Office apps (Excel and PowerPoint).
- Fluency in both Japanese and English is mandatory.
