About the Role
As an SAP Planning Senior Consultant, you will play a central role in consulting, conceptualizing, and implementing modern planning and control solutions based on SAP technologies. You will work closely with business departments, IT departments, and project teams to design future-proof planning processes for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Utilize state-of-the-art AI technology to elevate clients' projects and business processes to a new level in operational project deployment.
- Conceptualize and implement innovative solutions for efficiency improvement in modern SAP system landscapes (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP BTP).
- Analyze end-to-end business processes in the SAP environment and identify potential for automation and optimization through AI.
- Collaborate closely with business departments and process consultants to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Work in international teams with access to the experiences of the SAP Global Practice and global AI teams.
- Take responsibility in project teams for architectural decisions and internal development of the AI topic.
Requirements
- Completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with IT focus) or comparable qualification.
- Sound knowledge in SAP Business AI (including SAP Joule) and experience in SAP projects.
- Hands-on experience in the technical implementation of AI or automation solutions in the SAP environment (e.g., SAP BTP, APIs, integration, data models).
- Good understanding of SAP processes (e.g., Finance, Logistics, Master Data) and their optimization potential through AI.
- Experience in translating business requirements into technical solutions, including prototyping.
- Knowledge of modern architectures, cloud technologies, and AI/ML is advantageous.
- Structured team player with strong initiative, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good and negotiation-level (C1) German and English language skills are required.
