About the Role
This is a hands-on, generalist Product & Marketing Executive role supporting exciting parts of the Octopus Energy brand. You will be trusted to run with projects, collaborate closely with others, and help bring Octopus to life for customers day-to-day.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage new merchandise, sampling, and shipping, including maintaining the e-commerce site and logistics.
- Coordinate with suppliers, partners, and tech teams to launch new rewards offers, maintain the website, and identify improvements.
- Plan and execute impactful email marketing communications to engage customers.
- Develop and execute brilliant, creative, and on-budget campaigns, from sending electric blankets to giving away Glastonbury tickets.
- Create written and video content to support various projects.
- Manage marketing operations including customer queries, internal Slack channels, knowledge base updates, performance tracking, collateral printing, event organization, and shoots.
Requirements
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive self-starter, comfortable juggling multiple tasks.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborative and enthusiastic team member.
- Adaptable and willing to figure things out ('T-shaped').
- Obsessed with understanding human behavior, attention, and product engagement.
- 2-3+ years of experience in a marketing role.
- Content creation experience is a bonus.
