About the Role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our cross-functional Core Experience team and help connect our neighborhood better!
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the frontend architecture and technical direction of the Core User Experience team, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Actively contribute to the further development of our React-based frontend, including state management, server-side rendering in Node.js, and build tools (Vite, Webpack, Rollup, CI/CD).
- Ensure engineering standards for clean code, testing, performance, accessibility, and security are met.
- Participate in technical decisions and ensure alignment with backend, platform, and product architecture.
- Deliver results together with your cross-functional team, focusing on planning, prioritization, reliability, and quality.
- Commit to delivering real user value in every sprint and reliably meeting these commitments.
- Work closely with Product Management and Design to translate business and user requirements into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Balance technical debt, platform evolution, and feature delivery sustainably.
Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in developing robust, scalable, and performant web applications with React and the modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystem.
- Experience in Braze, Google Ads Manager, Google Tag Manager, EUID implementation, and cookieless targeting.
- Deep understanding of React, state management patterns (e.g., Redux or alternatives), and frontend architecture principles.
- Hands-on experience in the technical integration of advertising platforms, including ad serving, tracking implementation, and tag management.
- Experience with server-side rendering (e.g., Node.js), modern build tools (Vite, Webpack, Rollup), and CI/CD pipelines.
- Demonstrable ability to collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers.
- Strong ownership mindset: You think in results, not just output.
- Very good English skills for collaboration in our international team; German is a plus.
