About the Role

Join our Inventory & Logistics team in a permanent full-time role and play a key part in supporting safe and efficient depot operations across GWW. As a Depot Yard & Store Person, you’ll maintain the day-to-day operations of our depot yard and warehouse, ensuring stock is well managed, sites are safe and organised, and operational crews have the materials they need to deliver essential services. This is a great opportunity to build your experience in logistics and operational support while contributing to reliable service delivery for our communities.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack and manage inventory, ensuring accurate stock handling and storage
Maintain a clean, safe and organised depot yard, including inspections and general upkeep
Receive deliveries, record stock movements and support dispatch processes
Assist with spoil and materials management, coordinating contractors as required
Support basic purchasing activities and communicate stock requirements
Follow safety procedures and contribute to a strong HSEQ culture

Requirements

Experience in a warehouse, yard or logistics environment
Strong commitment to safety and safe manual handling practices
Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on, outdoor work
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Valid forklift license (Highly desirable)
Driver’s license (Essential)
The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks, including reference checks, medical assessments, a national police check, and verification of working rights in Australia.

Salary $73,156 + 12% super
