About the Role
The Assistant Designer role supports the design team in workplace design projects, acquiring practical skills through hands-on experience. This position offers opportunities to participate in global and foreign-affiliated company projects, be involved from strategy to implementation, work closely with client decision-making, collaborate with APAC and global design teams, and contribute to integrated services within the 'One JLL' framework.
Responsibilities
- Lead design work from concept to detailed design.
- Translate work style strategies into spatial and design solutions.
- Ensure design quality aligns with client objectives.
- Create layouts, presentation materials, and design documents.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders.
- Provide design adjustments and supervision support during the construction phase.
- Collaborate with APAC and global design teams.
- Utilize global standard tools and processes.
- Mentor and develop junior designers.
- Contribute to team performance improvement.
- Build and strengthen client relationships.
- Identify opportunities for additional work.
- Contribute to promoting the value of JLL Design.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of practical experience in architectural or interior design.
- Over 5 years of practical experience in workplace (office) design.
- Experience in designing large-scale projects.
- Experience in all phases from basic planning to construction supervision.
- Client interaction and presentation experience.
- Practical skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline).
- Practical experience with Revit and SketchUp.
- Certified Architect (First Class) or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a global or cross-cultural environment.
