About the Role
The Assistant Designer role supports design activities within workplace design projects, acquiring practical skills through hands-on experience. This position offers opportunities to lead global and strategic projects, work closely with clients on decision-making, collaborate with APAC and global design teams, drive integrated services through the 'One JLL' platform, and contribute to team management and business expansion.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design quality and direction for multiple projects.
- Ensure quality and support decision-making through design reviews.
- Promote consistent design aligned with client objectives.
- Manage progress, quality, and outcomes for multiple projects.
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders.
- Provide design coordination and decision support for key projects.
- Collaborate with APAC and global design teams.
- Utilize global standard tools and processes.
- Develop and train the design team.
- Enhance team performance and optimize resources.
- Build and strengthen client relationships.
- Generate opportunities for additional work and new projects.
- Contribute to promoting JLL Design's value and brand.
Requirements
- Over 10 years of practical experience in architectural or interior design.
- Over 7 years of practical experience in workplace (office) design.
- Experience leading large-scale projects.
- Experience managing multiple projects.
- Client negotiation and presentation experience.
- Practical skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Business-level English proficiency (TOEIC score of 700 or higher is a guideline).
- Practical experience with Revit and SketchUp.
- Certified Architect (Class 1) or equivalent qualification.
- Qualifications such as LEED AP, WELL certification.
- Work experience in a global or cross-cultural environment.
