About the Role
The Global Network Banking (GNB) Associate orchestrates the delivery and execution of Citi's products and services within Australia. This role involves relationship management of multinational clients, analyzing business trends, and identifying cross-selling opportunities to be a leading provider of financial services.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of multinational client subsidiaries to originate and cross-sell all Citi's products with a view of expanding local client wallet share in line with the global relationship client strategy.
- Generate revenue growth across all product groups by cross-selling new products to existing clients, increasing revenue from existing products, and new client acquisition.
- Assist in the identification, qualification, and wallet sizing of prospective clients for new business initiatives within the Banking client base.
- Manage credit due diligence, credit excess, KYC, and AML requirements against your designated client portfolio.
Requirements
- At least 5 years' direct experience in a coverage or client sales within the banking services industry.
- Demonstrated track record in growing revenues on a consistent basis.
- Understanding of banking products (loans, FX, derivatives, cash management, trade) and knowledge of Capital Markets and Corporate and Structured Finance products.
- Ability to work within a matrix organization and collaborate effectively with product partners and banking colleagues, locally, regionally and globally.
- Good understanding of financial statements including profit and loss statement and balance sheet.
- Proven and progressive related lending/credit experience or equivalent product experience.
- Demonstrated credit skills, including a background in credit.
- Experience with large corporate clients, capital markets products, derivatives, credit, cash management, trade, finance and securities products preferred.
- Knowledge of Corporate Banking business including related products, pertinent regulations and the lending and credit approval process.
