About the Role
We are looking for a sparring partner who combines operational excellence with strategic foresight, leads our finance team with expertise and commitment, and works closely with our CFO. You will professionalize our commercial structures and drive the insourcing of central tasks. Together with your team, you will ensure that our financial processes are as agile and precise as our software projects. You will create a modern financial architecture, from group closing in LucaNet to expanding our reporting.
Responsibilities
- You manage the entire financial accounting according to HGB and are responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- You act as the interface to tax advisors, auditors, and banks.
- You lead the preparation of the consolidated financial statements in LucaNet.
- You further develop our management reports and KPIs and support budget planning and project controlling in close coordination with our operational units.
- You ensure our financial strength at all times through active cash flow planning and optimized working capital.
- You harmonize the financial topics of our locations in three countries and ensure tax compliance and transfer pricing documentation.
- You lead your team both technically and disciplinarily at eye level, promote individual development, and continuously optimize our financial processes and systems.
Requirements
- You have successfully completed a business administration degree; an additional qualification as a certified accountant is a big plus.
- You have at least 5 years of sound professional experience in a responsible financial position, ideally in an IT service company. A background in auditing is a clear advantage.
- You have in-depth HGB knowledge – from operational booking to the final annual financial statements.
- You are proficient in modern controlling methods and are open to further developing the area through the use of AI.
- You are absolutely proficient in using common financial tools such as DATEV, LucaNet, Circula, Perk, etc.
- As we are growing internationally, you are willing to travel occasionally to our locations.
- You communicate confidently and with negotiation skills in German and have very good English skills.
