About the Role
Drive sustainable revenue growth and commercial excellence by leading KPI management, optimizing trade investments, enhancing sales operations, and implementing data-driven and digital initiatives. Partner cross-functionally and with global stakeholders to ensure effective execution, governance, and continuous improvement of commercial strategies in the local market.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive KPIs aligned with overall commercial strategies.
- Establish data-driven frameworks to monitor performance and enable actionable insights.
- Design and optimize customer trade terms to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
- Partner with Finance and Sales to ensure governance, compliance and consistency in commercial terms.
- Assess financial impact of trade agreements and recommend optimization actions.
- Lead annual promotion investment planning, leveraging data-driven insights and aligning with business strategy.
- Collaborate with Finance and Marketing to ensure accurate budgeting and alignment with cost frameworks.
- Conduct post-promotion effectiveness analyses (ROI and performance uplift).
- Ensure transparent and efficient use of commercial budgets, aligned with brand and channel strategies.
- Improve and maintain core commercial processes, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment across teams.
- Work closely with the Finance internal audit team to enhance Sales Operations processes and ensure full compliance with corporate policies and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with global headquarters to plan and lead the localization and rollout of key digital programs in Japan.
- Develop a deep understanding of local sales activities and operations, identify market-specific requirements, and partner with global stakeholders to ensure the successful adaptation and implementation of digital initiatives tailored to local needs.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Data teams to ensure seamless commercial operations.
- Deliver insights, recommendations, and strategic guidance to senior management.
- Provide governance oversight for commercial decision making and investment allocations.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years’ solid experience in the Sales Planning functions
- Experience of leading project

- Flexible working attitude to work on a dynamic/fast moving environment
- Project management
- Detail oriented attitude for reporting based on large volume of data sources
- Knowledge of BI tools (PowerBI) is a plus
- Logical and critical thinking skill
- Knowledge of the Japanese route to market
