About the Role
The Trench Safety (CDL) Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery, loading, and unloading of Trench Safety equipment to and from customer worksites. This role operates Class A trucks and truck-mounted equipment, follows all safety rules, keeps equipment in good shape, and completes all required paperwork.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver and pick up trench-related safety, plates, and equipment between yard, branch, and customer sites.
- Utilize truck-mounted boom equipment for loading and offloading Safety materials and large equipment.
- Maneuver trucks in confined, uneven, or high-traffic job-site conditions, ensuring safe navigation and load placement.
- Secure loads in compliance with DOT and company policies.
- Maintain the truck and equipment in clean, organized, and serviceable condition.
- Accurately complete and submit all delivery documents, service tickets, DOT logs, and inspection paperwork.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL.
- Ability to work variable shifts with extended hours.
- Experience hauling and loading large equipment, operating a truck-mounted boom, air brakes endorsement, and experience driving a manual transmission (10-18 speed) without automatic restrictions, preferred.
