About the Role

This is a max-term, full-time opportunity covering maternity leave, based at our Blue Hills Manor Aged Care Home in Prestons. Enjoy a consistent Monday to Friday schedule. Join a purpose-led organisation that is shaping the future of aged care through innovative, resident-centred care.

Responsibilities

  • Providing management, direction, and leadership to the Care Team.
  • Assisting in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of innovative, resident-focused care and systems.
  • Managing employees and resources to meet organisational and facility strategic objectives.
  • Ensuring team efficiency and quality service delivery to provide high-quality care that aligns with BaptistCare’s philosophy of care delivery.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) within the aged care sector.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • Sound knowledge of AN-NAC, care planning, Aged Care standards, and auditing.
  • The ability to provide management and leadership that fosters trust and positive qualities in all team members.
  • An understanding of the impact of complex care needs and the ability to apply high-level clinical knowledge, including palliative care and dementia care.
  • Willingness to work after hours on an On-Call Rotation.
