About the Role

The ICT Business Partner plays a pivotal role in connecting business priorities with technology outcomes, acting as the trusted, go-to advisor across all divisions and a core enabler within ICT. This role ensures technology decisions are driven by business priorities, delivering measurable value and strengthening ICT as a pillar of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted strategic partner and primary point of contact between ICT and all divisions.
  • Champion business needs within ICT, shaping solutions that drive outcomes and long-term value.
  • Lead proactive engagement with stakeholders to influence decision-making and prioritisation.
  • Align ICT services, investments, and roadmaps with organisational strategy.
  • Drive accountability through effective SLA management and demand planning.
  • Act as an enabler within ICT, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to build trusted partnerships and influence stakeholders across multiple divisions.
  • A strategic mindset, with experience aligning ICT initiatives to business goals and outcomes.
  • Strong judgement and the confidence to provide clear, outcome-focused advice on complex matters.
  • The ability to operate autonomously while managing competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • A solid understanding of ICT services, demand management, and business integration.
  • A collaborative, enabling approach that drives continuous improvement and service excellence.
  • Be willing to do a Criminal Record Check.
  • Hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies).
  • Possess relevant tertiary and/or professional qualifications in ICT/related discipline, OR have significant demonstrated experience in relevant field.
