About the Role
The school is looking for a detail-loving, people-centered Development Associate to join our fundraising team. This role is for someone genuinely excited about clean data, meaningful donor relationships, and the behind-the-scenes work that makes generosity possible. You will report directly to the Director of Development and gain hands-on experience across every facet of nonprofit fundraising, building a foundation for a long career in this field.
Responsibilities
- Oversee donor database (Raiser's Edge), including data hygiene and reporting
- Partner in the development and implementation of a robust Alumni program, including celebrating the school’s 25th anniversary in 2027
- Support annual giving campaigns by managing mailings, drafting acknowledgment letters, and pulling donor reports
- Help plan and coordinate department events from logistics to day-of execution, including annual spring community party, GrandFriends Day, and donor cultivation events
- Assist with donor research, prospect tracking, and moves management support
- Manage the production of weekly all-school and all-staff newsletters
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Development to keep the team organized and moving forward
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, or a related field
- Highly organized

- Proficiency with office software and technology
