About the Role

Castle Dental, supported by Smile Brands, seeks a Travel Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to serve multiple practices in South Austin and surrounding communities. This role offers an experienced orthodontic assistant variety, teamwork, and the opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings. The assistant will collaborate with orthodontic providers to ensure positive patient experiences and maintain clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

Assist orthodontists with procedures including bonding, adjustments, wire changes, and debonding
Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
Take digital X-rays, impressions, and intraoral scans
Educate patients on oral hygiene and orthodontic appliance care
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records
Support efficient patient flow and a positive office environment
Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
Help educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
Improve oral health, solve dental challenges, and enhance smiles daily

Requirements

Active Texas Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license
Orthodontic assisting experience (1+ year preferred), including braces, bands, wires, and aligners
CPR/BLS certification
Experience with digital imaging and orthodontic software
Ability to travel between nearby offices as needed
Reliable transportation
