About the Role
This Senior Architect role is part of the Architecture team, reporting to the Director of Architecture. The position assists in directing the architecture discipline, managing staff, building a successful practice, executing corporate vision, and promoting the WGI brand. Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of multiple projects.
- Coordinate all project and design efforts, administrative and technical.
- Proactively manage design intent, client budgets, schedules, programs, communications, documentation, office administrative tasks, and project team assignments.
- Estimate fees, confirm scopes of work, and prepare proposals.
- Serve as the primary client liaison for design, schedule, budgets, and scope delivery.
- Develop discipline design and production templates and standards.
- Market architectural services to current and prospective clients.
- Monitor and assist leaders in meeting financial goals and ensuring an adequate pipeline of work.
- Train developing team members, assign, and direct work efforts.
- Perform administrative functions for project completion.
- Compile, review, and check multi-discipline documents for conformance, accuracy, and consistency.
- Uphold WGI Quality Assurance/Quality Control standards for all documents.
- Prepare Project Management Plan and Quality Control Plan for assigned projects.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering/technical work.
Requirements
- Licensed Architect (RA).
- Professional architecture degree from an accredited program.
- At least 10+ years experience post-graduation.
- Extensive experience in diverse client and project types including health-care, K-12 and higher education, corporate office, industrial, transit and transportation, commercial, and/or multi-family (preferred).
- Green building accreditation (a plus).
- Involved in the local community.
- Currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
- Unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of any employment visas.
