About the Role
Provide human resources support and consultation across the organization, supporting associates, management, and leadership on HR issues. Responsible for HR operations, employee relations, and employee engagement. Responsibilities
- Cultivate strong relationships and influence at all organizational levels
- Oversee HRIS systems, including employee information data, performance management, rewards, and recognition
- Coach and counsel associates with managers
- Partner with associates and management to communicate HR policies, procedures, standards, and compliance
- Conduct exit interviews and gather data to implement change and increase retention
- May supervise/manage Human Resource specialist, generalist(s), and coordinator
- Coordinate with Payroll for checks/balances
- Perform AAP and EEOC reporting
- Establish and implement HR efforts supporting the company’s mission and strategic vision
- Function as a strategic business advisor to senior management on organizational and management issues
- Provide HR technical expertise for assessing and integrating acquisitions
- Advise and support the development, implementation, oversight, and evaluation of HR information systems
- Monitor and oversee employee orientation, maintaining expert knowledge of all employee programs and conducting orientation as necessary
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee documentation for changes, terminations, and file information
- Assist associates with ADA accommodations
- Provide guidance and coaching to the executive leadership team on employee problem-solving, conflict resolution, counseling, and disciplinary action procedures
- Ensure consistent adherence to company guidelines on disciplinary procedures, dependability, and terminations
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints
- Work with senior management to prepare, issue, and follow through with Performance Improvement Plans
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop company policies and procedures
- Assist the SR HR Manager in developing annual compensation and goal modules
- Provide HR support to WGI Ventures groups as needed
- Actively participate with Vice Presidents of engineering divisions on staff engagement
- Provide guidance to the talent acquisition team, career development, retention, training, leadership development, and compensation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 7+ years of prior Human Resource Generalist experience
- 3 years of management experience
- Current knowledge of employment regulations/laws and HR related trends and processes
- Prior experience reporting from an HRIS system
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with strong ethics
- High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, high-growth organization
- Goal-oriented, proactive, accountable, and passionate about helping others and driving results
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
