About the Role

Join our dynamic Solution Engineering team in Sydney, Australia, as a technical leader driving growth and adoption of Splunk solutions with commercial customers. Be part of a collaborative, results-driven pre-sales group supporting the ANZ Splunk Scale business.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and evangelize Splunk products and services through onsite sessions, webinars, and field events.
• Lead discovery calls and conversations to identify and validate opportunities, independently or with your sales counterpart.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with customers and partners throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
• Conduct on-site customer engagements, including Proof of Value/Concept demonstrations.
• Address complex technical inquiries and resolve customer concerns to ensure successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve working practices, processes, and customer success.

Requirements

• Must be based in or within a commutable distance to Sydney, NSW.
• Must be authorised to work in Australia without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
• Proven experience in enterprise presales, ideally 5+ years, with a technical focus.
• Ability to understand complex application environments and machine data sources (logs, security data, network data, etc.).
• Strong ability to articulate complex technical solutions to customers and partners.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value and improve processes.

Skills

• Hands-on knowledge of Splunk solutions and experience demonstrating their value to commercial customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
• Working knowledge of AI concepts & practical adoption of AI capabilities.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies, search engines, and query languages.
• Experience in security or observability solutions.
• Scripting languages is a plus.
• Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
• Passion for technology, innovation, and customer success.
