About the Role

Rillet serves accounting and finance teams, empowering them to achieve impossible speed, accuracy, and insight with an AI-native ERP designed for a zero-day close. This role is for a design leader who will thrive in ambiguity, build products from inception, establish scalable design systems, and lead teams through rapid growth. The ideal candidate balances strategic vision with hands-on execution, driven by the challenge of making complex financial software genuinely elegant and appreciating the value of equipping customers with perfect financial tools.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the full design process from user research, product flows, wire-framing, to UI design
Collaborate with product and engineering to define short-term tactical goals and long-term product vision and roadmap
Establish design principles and set direction for Rillet's design system
Lead user research initiatives
Understand user goals, business requirements, and technical constraints that shape the product
Invent new interaction paradigms in finance & accounting by drawing inspiration from various sources
Lead, mentor, and coach a team of product designers
Recruit and onboard new product designers
Contribute directly to Rillet's UX/UI design

Requirements

5+ years of end-to-end design experience across all stages of the design process

Strong cross-functional communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and customers
Challenger mindset that questions the status quo and invents new paradigms
