About the Role

Join HSBC Innovation Banking's Technology Banking Practice to partner with founders and CEOs reshaping the physical world through new materials, next-gen manufacturing, electrification, autonomous systems, and climate-critical infrastructure. This role focuses on the Climate & Deep Tech ecosystem, supporting companies where hardware, software, and data converge for decarbonization and industrial economy reinvention. Build internal networks across HSBC to ensure a streamlined client banking experience.

Responsibilities

Build long-term relationships with founders and finance leaders of growing technology companies, guiding them through fundraising, scaling, global expansion, and strategic decisions.
Deliver the full capabilities of the HSBC Innovation Banking Platform.
Develop relationships with Venture Capitalists, Advisors, and finance partners in the Climate and Deep Tech vertical.
Generate new business for HSBC Innovation Banking via banking, lending, and credit products.
Develop the HSBC Innovation Banking brand through industry events, conferences, media, speaking, and thought leadership.
Build effective internal networks within the HSBC Innovation Banking platform.
Provide insights on industry and company trends to align HSBC business development with the innovative ecosystem's needs.

Requirements

Strong relevant technology ecosystem experience.
Entrepreneurial, high-agency, and success-driven.
Long-term, authentic relationship building skills with interest in building a high-quality client portfolio.
Experience working in the venture capital and start-up ecosystem preferred.
Strong Relationship Management skills with Technology and Innovation Sector companies.
Strong finance, analysis, and commercial lending experience, including credit term negotiation.
Excellent knowledge of banking products, including Treasury, Clearing, and Trade Finance Solutions.
Strong background in debt structuring and execution.
Passionate about technology start-ups and the venture ecosystem.
Entrepreneurial, collaborative approach with a flexible style.
