About the Role

The Vice-Rectorate for Studies and Research (VRER) is seeking Associate Professors to teach specific courses in Human Plurality Studies for the Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 sessions. This role involves preparing and delivering course content, grading assignments, and collaborating with program staff and faculty to support student success.

Responsibilities

• Prepare course content and teach in accordance with the program's conceptual framework.
• Grade assignments and provide continuous feedback to students.
• Collaborate with the program coordinator, mentors, permanent faculty, and other members of the Human Plurality Studies team.
• Actively participate in team meetings, including collaborative teams for content and practice harmonization and co-creation sessions.
• Adhere to faculty requirements, expected commitments, and institutional directives and policies.
• Teach within UOF's various training programs as needed by the Bachelor of Human Plurality Studies RPER, according to the terms of the job description.
• Contribute to the functioning and reputation of UOF.
• Perform any other related tasks required.

Requirements

• Minimum academic qualification of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in social and/or human sciences (sociology, anthropology, philosophy, law, etc.).
• Teaching experience in areas such as discrimination, racism, human rights, minority rights, social inequalities, or other related fields.
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within an institution.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Critical, creative, and innovative thinking.
• Autonomy and responsibility in task execution.
• Proficiency in common digital tools.
• Minimum of a Master's degree (or equivalent) in social and/or human sciences.
• Recognized professional experience by members of their professional community (e.g., professional order, professional certification).
