About the Role
Alpha FMC is expanding its Technology Due Diligence offering within the Strategy & Deals team and is seeking experienced professionals to lead high-profile buy-side and sell-side engagements. These engagements deliver targeted assessments of technology risk, value creation potential, and operational resilience to inform transaction decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology due diligence engagements end-to-end, assessing target technology platforms, architecture, and development practices.
- Translate technical findings into actionable commercial and investment insights to inform deal strategy.
- Assess enterprise technology environments, architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software development practices.
- Evaluate how AI, data platforms, and emerging technologies support commercial strategy, product roadmaps, and growth ambitions.
- Assess IT synergy opportunities and integration considerations for engagements involving integration.
- Assess IT standalone operating model impacts and cost adjustments for engagements involving carve-outs.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.
- Structure and present conclusions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor and develop team members, ensuring high-quality deliverables and knowledge sharing.
- Support business development efforts, including proposals, client pitches, and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of delivering technology-focused due diligence within financial services.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to distill complex findings into actionable insights.
- Proven experience leading teams and client relationships at a senior level.
- Demonstrable depth in emerging technology (e.g., AI, GenAI, data platforms).
- Ability to connect technical findings to commercial strategy, product competitiveness, and investment outcomes.
- Familiarity with adjacent workstreams such as operational due diligence or integration planning is advantageous.
