About the Role

This role is critical for maintaining CarMax’s vehicle inventory and customer experience. It involves vehicle receiving, shipping, lot maintenance, merchandising, and photo uploads, ensuring quality standards are met. Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory by following CarMax processes.
• Receive and secure vehicles, preparing title packets for transfers.
• Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring clean and organized display areas.
• Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.
• Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.
• Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.
• Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.
• Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.
• Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
