About the Role

The Regional Vice-President, Estate Planning is responsible for driving insurance revenue within Ontario and with assigned advisors, growing insurance revenue from Private Client/Evolution clients, and providing advanced case consultation, marketing help, and insurance expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare advanced risk-based insurance solutions for advisors and their clients.
  • Review Wealth Plans/Estate Plans/Financial Plans for advanced insurance opportunities.
  • Work with Wealth Planning consultants and Private Client Managers on advanced insurance issues.
  • Assist and coach the Estate Planning and Product Solutions Specialist on providing a tiered service approach.
  • Present advanced topics to branches, advisors, and external referral partners.
  • Manage communication between the back office and advisors during issue resolution.
  • Ensure advisors adhere to the AEIS Compliance Manual.
  • Allocate marketing budgets based on sound business principles.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Extensive experience dealing with and managing advisors and their expectations.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of tax & estate planning issues related to insurance concepts.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance company products, concepts, and illustration systems.
  • Excellent understanding of Private Client and APC products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Creative thinker.
  • Excellent presenter.

  • Life Insurance and Accident & Sickness Insurance licenses as required for the jurisdiction of duty, with further application for all CDN provinces and Territories.

Salary/Compensations

  • $120,000 to $135,000
