About the Role

Lead Asset Protection activities for assigned unit in accordance with company policies and procedures, driving sales and profits.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental conversations with direct reports, documenting strengths and opportunities.
  • Interview, hire, and train Asset Protection talent for the store.
  • Ensure the Asset Protection team adheres to directives, policies, and procedures.
  • Coach associates on the sales floor to enhance development.
  • Advise Store/District Leadership Teams on noted opportunities.
  • Identify potential theft and fraud by observing activity, reviewing exception reports, and investigation referrals.
  • Interview associates suspected of theft or fraud, documenting all stages.
  • Ensure Asset Protection documentation is complete, accurate, and maintained per company policy.
  • Communicate external theft trends to associates.
  • Partner with other locations/retailers to identify Organized Retail Crime (ORC) groups and patterns.
  • Gather evidence on ORC and external fraud under direction from DAPM or Field Investigations.
  • Attend hearings as required and update files with court-related outcomes.
  • Create and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and mall security partners.
  • Review reports of external apprehensions, internal investigations, incident reports, PCI, PII, and Sales Audit documentation.
  • Tailor company Asset Protection direction to specific stores.
  • Educate and motivate store teams on shrinkage reduction and safety.
  • Coach store associates on maintaining hazard-free work areas and sales floors.
  • Coach store associates on maintaining inventory maintenance processes.
  • Periodically audit departments for merchandise protection standard adherence.
  • Identify merchandise protection opportunities that deviate from company standards.

Salary/Compensations

  • USD $57,120.00 - USD $81,600.00 per year
