About the Role
Seeking a curious, analytical, and motivated Verification & Validation (V&V) Senior Engineer to transform engineering work through data, automation, and AI. This role involves rethinking V&V operations, ensuring safety and compliance in a regulated environment, and contributing to scalable, insight-driven workflows. Ideal for those who enjoy solving ambiguous problems and making a meaningful impact.
Responsibilities
- Reframe and diagnose complex V&V and system-level challenges, identifying root causes across workflows, tools, and organizational boundaries.
- Design and implement changes to transform V&V processes beyond incremental improvements.
- Integrate AI into V&V systems, defining context, guardrails, and feedback loops for reliable, auditable, and trusted outputs.
- Define success metrics through benchmarks, experiments, and validation approaches for automation and AI.
- Ensure adoption and sustainability of new approaches by balancing technical solutions with behavioral and cultural aspects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.
- 5+ years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, or related functions within a regulated industry.
- Demonstrated technical leadership in complex projects.
- Proven track record applying AI and automation to engineering workflows (e.g., predictive analytics, automated decision support, testing automation, large-scale data integration).
- Strong working knowledge of requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Jama, Jira).
- Proficiency in data science environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Jupyter).
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate technical insights into strategic recommendations.
- Substantial experience in medical devices or similarly regulated industries (preferred).
- Demonstrated contributions to AI in regulatory, quality, or compliance contexts (e.g., AI-assisted documentation, automated coverage analysis, predictive risk management) (preferred).
