About the Role
As a Teller, you assist with various financial needs and process transactions. You provide exceptional customer service, resolve concerns, minimize risk, defend against fraud, refer product solutions, and escalate complex issues for timely resolution.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming customers and assisting with banking needs.
- Process transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Handle cash and maintain accurate cash drawer balances.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures, including compliance and risk management protocols.
- Identify opportunities and cross-sell bank products to deepen customer relationships.
- Engage customers and educate them on self-service options using digital tools.
- Assist with custodianship, audits, and other operational tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support nearby branch locations as business necessity requires.
Requirements
- 6+ months cash handling experience.
- 6+ months demonstrated customer service experience.
- Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Established work history or equivalent.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
