About the Role

This role provides support for the Association’s activities related to TASB’s governing and entity boards, TASB’s delegate Assembly, and assists the Division Director with special projects and strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee planning and execution of the annual TASB Delegate Assembly.
  • Oversee planning of assigned organizational board meetings.
  • Provide general administrative support for governing boards, including processing expense reports, coordinating onboarding/offboarding, administering appointment/nominations, and creating notices/agendas.
  • Communicate board policies, procedures, standards, and methods to staff and trustees.
  • Develop production deadlines and expedite meeting materials.
  • Maintain board term, biographical, and contact data.
  • Oversee organization records and retention requirements.
  • Oversee preparation of reports, minutes, and background materials for meetings.
  • Provide administrative and project management assistance for internal clients and the division, including special projects.
  • Learn all facets of Board and Management Services, including TASB Membership.
  • Assist with day-to-day responsibilities to support the Division Director and act as team leader in absence.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to Board Services Coordinator and Membership Administrator.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience planning and organizing operations and large-scale executive or board events and meetings.
