About the Role
Aechelon Technology, Inc. produces 3D simulator content, including Geospecific visual/sensor databases and realistic 3D models. We seek individuals passionate about real-time computer graphics and committed to our mission of enhancing pilot safety. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals in the graphics industry within the GeoSpecific Department of the Modeling Division.
Responsibilities
- Create, UV map, texture, and light low to high poly models.
Requirements
- Provide a portfolio link on a website, ArtStation, or similar platform.
- United States citizenship required due to data access restrictions.
- Demonstrate good technical abilities for model implementation into 3D engines.
- Possess an understanding of basic color theory and an aesthetic eye for real-world simulation data.
Skills
- Advanced Maya knowledge.
- Advanced Photoshop knowledge.
- Strong understanding of light and form.
- Strong time management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in game/real-time environments (desired).
- Experience with Mel and/or Python (desired).
- Experience with Microsoft Office (MSExcel/MSWord) (desired).

Salary/Compensations
- $60,000 - $80,000 USD per year (California specific)
