About the Role

At Buckner Villas, we seek a talented and friendly Certified Nurse Aide to drive excellence and ensure customer service aligns with Buckner’s mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities
- Accurately implement prescribed health care plans.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including turning, ambulating, and delivering food and beverages.
- Help patients with personal hygiene, such as providing bedpans and assisting with bathing.
- Provide adjunct patient care, including delivering ice packs and dressings.
- Process information from professionals and collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and nurses.
- Monitor and record food intake, urinary, and fecal output for medical and nursing staff.
Requirements
- Current Texas Nurse Aide Certification
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Professional knowledge of basic health care practices and procedures, including infection control
- Ability to instruct residents in health care measures and methods for improving medical service use
- Working knowledge of using and monitoring resident restraints as prescribed by physicians
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job
