About the Role

This role is for the first dedicated pricing hire, sitting at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Strategy. The primary goal is to accelerate and scale the enterprise go-to-market motion by structuring and proposing deals. Responsibilities include building internal deal processes, proposal structuring, commercial negotiations, and sales enablement. This position blends strategic thinking with high-caliber execution.

Responsibilities

Own deal structuring for enterprise opportunities, partnering with account executives to build proposals and close deals.
Develop and refine Decagon's pricing and packaging strategy.
Build and scale internal deal desk processes.
Collect and analyze pricing and deal data to inform company strategy.
Partner with Finance and Legal to align on deal economics and contract terms.

Requirements

6-10+ years of experience in pricing, deal desk, or monetization functions at high-growth companies.
Comfort working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Strong cross-functional collaboration with finance, sales, and legal teams.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Experience building or scaling a deal desk or pricing function at a high-growth or early-stage company.
Previously led implementation of a CPQ platform.
Familiarity with consumption-based or usage-based pricing models and traditional SaaS subscription structures.
SQL or other data analytics experience.
