About the Role
This role ensures patient access to therapies by serving as a subject matter expert on access and reimbursement for Korlym, Mifepristone AG, and Relacorilant. The manager supports healthcare providers, field sales teams, specialty pharmacies, and the patient support HUB to resolve access barriers. Responsibilities include delivering education, troubleshooting complex reimbursement challenges, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure successful therapy initiation and continuation for appropriate patients. This role requires strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills, deep knowledge of the access landscape, and expertise in navigating payer policies, benefits verifications, prior authorizations, and reimbursement logistics.
Responsibilities
- Assist HCP offices with reimbursement processes, including information collection, benefits investigations, prior authorizations, appeals, and product fulfillment through specialty pharmacies.
- Collaborate with the Corcept HUB to resolve patient case issues, including delayed, cancelled, or discontinued enrollments.
- Facilitate patient access by coordinating with specialty pharmacies, HUB case managers, payers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct in-services and educational sessions for HCP staff on Corcept's access pathway, patient support services, the HUB, and the Specialty Pharmacy network.
- Serve as the territory's access and reimbursement resource, informing stakeholders of evolving payer policies and access dynamics.
- Partner with Clinical Sales Specialists to align on account strategy and provide insights into access-related challenges and opportunities.
- Participate in territory and national team calls, contributing local insights to shape strategy and support continuous improvement.
- Provide feedback to Market Access leadership and the National Accounts Team on regional access trends, issues, and payer policy shifts.
- Balance in-field visits with virtual engagement and territory-level case management.
- Analyze territory data to identify access barriers, enrollment issues, or support gaps, and develop action plans.
- Track and support patients throughout the access journey, from enrollment to fulfillment and therapy continuation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech reimbursement, market access, patient services, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with specialty pharmacies, HUBs, payers, and healthcare providers in a field-based capacity.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
