About the Role
To strengthen our Mobility teams, we are looking for you as a Senior Planning Coordinator / International Project Manager (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
- Lead and monitor essential (multidisciplinary) projects (own and third-party services) as a senior planning engineer in terms of expertise and deadlines, adhering to contractual and order-specific budgeted or calculated frameworks, including active change order management, also through international cooperation.
- Achieve project goals while adhering to the cost framework and project deadlines.
- Control and implement quality-compliant and customer-oriented project execution by coordinating, controlling, and monitoring planning processes and resources, including abroad.
- Act as the point of contact for all internal and external parties involved in the project, as well as the involved employees.
- Monitor performance and deadlines.
- Manage contracts and change orders, and coordinate project controlling.
- Expand the company's expertise in planning and managing projects.
- Support project acquisition and multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop and maintain business contacts, especially with planning industry cooperation partners (national and international).
Requirements
- Completed technical/university studies in the relevant field or equivalent knowledge.
- Extensive expertise in railway infrastructure planning and good market knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of railway technical standards, regulations, and laws.
- Relevant project management experience.
- Experience in leading planning teams.
- Many years of professional experience as a planning engineer.
- Very good English skills, both written and spoken.
- High social competence and cooperative working style, including cross-culturally.
- Teamwork skills.
- Professional, service-oriented demeanor with clients.
Skills
- CAD systems for processing digital planning documents.
- Common office applications.
- Tendering software.
- SAP (if applicable).
