About the Role
Oversee Electrical Cx Superintendents across multiple projects, playing a pivotal role in planning and organizing electrical commissioning and ensuring superintendents are prepared to commission electrical equipment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project commissioning execution plans and schedules.
- Supervise and mentor Electrical Cx Superintendents on assigned projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Quality, Safety, and Field Operations.
- Review and approve commissioning documentation (MOPs, test scripts, reports).
- Lead commissioning meetings and client updates.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets and staffing for commissioning activities across projects.
- Escalate risks, delays, or resource needs to senior leadership.
- Provide weekly reports for the Electrical Cx Director.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical commissioning experience and 10+ years of electrical construction experience.
- Proven experience managing commissioning teams on major industrial projects.
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Previous experience as a people leader.
- Knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- NFPA 70E Trained.
- OSHA 30.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Potentially lift up to 50 pounds.
- Potentially need to do repeated pushing, pulling, carrying, reaching (or working above shoulder), walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and climbing.
- Potentially operate a motor vehicle, crane, tractor, etc.
