About the Role

Design and build identity, endpoint, networking, and office IT systems to enable rapid and efficient scaling across four US offices. This role involves 0-to-1 work, collaborating with Operations, People, Finance, and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Configure single sign-on, automate identity and access management workflows, and manage access requests.
• Manage the endpoint fleet, including MDM system migration and expansion for onboarding, off-boarding, vulnerability management, and compliance.
• Administer and manage SaaS tools, including Google Workspace and Slack.
• Ensure performance and security of wired, wireless, and zero-trust VPN networks; maintain reliable A/V and videoconferencing across offices.
• Scale IT support by creating runbooks and knowledge articles for self-service and delegating Tier 0 troubleshooting.
• Implement automation and AI to streamline operations and reduce manual effort.

Requirements

• 7-9 years of progressive IT engineering experience, including experience at a high-growth company.
• Demonstrated breadth across the IT stack (identity, endpoint, SaaS administration, networking, office IT) with architectural expertise.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing problems from definition to delivery.
• Strong written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Quick to learn new platforms and technologies, comfortable with novel challenges, and proactive in seeking assistance.
• Experience with modern IdP (e.g., Okta, Google IAM) and SCIM-based provisioning.
• Experience with IGA tooling (e.g., Lumos, SailPoint, Saviynt) and joiner/mover/leaver automation.
• Modern MDM experience (e.g., Iru, Jamf, Jumpcloud, Intune).
• Networking and A/V engineering experience in multi-office environments.
• Experience partnering with EDR/MDR providers (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Expel, Arctic Wolf).
• Experience as an early IT engineering hire at a growing company.
• Proficiency in a scripting language (Python, TypeScript, or Bash) and config-as-code approaches.
