About the Role
Serve as a host/hostess, providing frontline customer service and supporting kitchen staff. Inspect dining areas, restock supplies, set and buss tables, take orders, prepare beverages, and expedite orders.
Responsibilities
- Accommodate special needs of guests.
- Inspect dining room service stations for neatness and cleanliness.
- Restock food and condiment stations, avoiding contamination.
- Prepare beverages and expedite food orders.
- Monitor guest entry and exit from the café.
- Stock and restock utensils, plates, and glasses in the service area.
- Transport utensils, glassware, plates, and food using carts.
- Act as a host/hostess for guests, take orders, and set/reset tables.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures according to OSHA, Department of Public Health, and Risk Management guidelines.
Requirements
- Maintain an active Handlers’ Card (ServSafe) and adhere to local food handler requirements.
- Possess good or correctable vision to safely perform duties.
- Demonstrate good balance to safely perform assigned tasks.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.

Experience Level
- 1+ year experience in food service or customer service.
Education Level
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Salary/Compensations
- $31.16 per hour
