About the Role

The Nido Restaurant Supervisor oversees the daily operations of Nido, Pool Service, and In-Room Dining, ensuring seamless front-of-house performance across all venues. This role is key to maintaining service excellence by upholding operational standards, enforcing established systems, and actively supporting front-of-house teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front-of-house service in Nido restaurant, dining room, bar, and pool.
  • Support In-Room Dining quality and timely service.
  • Assist with creating training materials.
  • Plan, staff, and execute property activations and events.
  • Lead front-of-house during activations and special events, ensuring smooth guest flow.
  • Provide feedback on guest response and future event ideas.
  • Build and send email campaigns, draft copy, and source images.
  • Support photo/video shoots, influencer collaborations, and press visits.
  • Maintain organized brand assets and update event listings, offers, and OTA channels.
  • Create quick-turn graphics for promotions using Canva.
  • Track post-campaign results.
  • Fill service gaps and work alongside the team when short-staffed.
  • Ensure sanitation and safety standards in all F&B areas.
  • Enforce uniform, grooming, and hygiene standards across outlets.
  • Verify age compliance for alcohol service.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
  • Supervise 5-40 associates.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of related experience in a restaurant environment.
  • 6 months of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Thorough knowledge of restaurant/hotel practices and procedures.
  • Knowledge of policies and procedures to determine courses of action.
  • Supervision and management communication skills.
  • Ability to investigate, analyze information, and make logical conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to make decisions guided by established policy and procedures.
  • Excellent comprehension for guest and associate matters.
  • Ability to interpret instructions from superiors.
  • Excellent vision for seating guests, expediting food, and reading plans/schedules.
  • Excellent oral communication for interacting with guests and associates.
  • Excellent comprehension to read and implement policies and procedures.
  • Ability to write schedules and read forecasts/SOPs.
  • Knowledge of chemicals/agents for training purposes.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 20-40 lbs (tables, chairs, trays, plates, chaffing dishes).
  • Ability to carry various items (clipboard, food products, small equipment).
  • Ability to bend/kneel occasionally (taping cords, skirting tables, picking up items).
  • 100% mobility to service clients on short notice.
  • Ability to stand continuously for 1-4 hours (function observation, client site inspections).
