About the Role
This role supports firm attorneys and clients with government-mandated employment and labor reporting. The incumbent will request, clean, and analyze large data sets, preparing them for reporting to government agencies or clients. This position involves close collaboration with other analysts and attorneys who provide guidance and review output.
Responsibilities
- Analyze employment-related data sets using industry-standard tools like R and MS Excel
- Compile and validate employment-related data from various client and attorney-provided sources
- Analyze and ensure data quality and thoroughness, performing cleaning methods and tests, and collaborating with clients for corrected data
- Create government-required workforce reporting (e.g., EEO-1, VETS, California Pay, Minnesota Department of Human Rights) using cleaned data and internal guidelines
- Support attorneys in preparing and defending government-required reports subject to audit
- Research applicable data sources (e.g., U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics)
- Prepare ad hoc reports, graphics, and presentations for client needs
- Communicate daily with clients and attorneys
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience with human capital data and government-mandated reporting
- Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables, reference and lookup formulae, graphing, table management, and limited VBA
- Strong organization, problem-solving, critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to apply practical knowledge by following general instructions and guidelines
- Ability to work independently with general supervision
- Ability to influence others within the department through explanation of facts, policies, and practices
- High degree of personal accountability for results
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime as necessary

Salary/Compensations
- Colorado: $35.20 hourly - $40.50 hourly
- New York City area: $38.40 hourly - $43.50 hourly
- Long Island area: $35.20 hourly - $40.50 hourly
