About the Role

Surgical Solutions is seeking full-time Traveling Technicians to support surgical teams nationwide. This full-time role involves extensive travel, supporting new site launches, delivering operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Travel across assigned territories to support new hospital accounts in operating room and sterile processing departments.
  • Execute project plans for successful new account implementations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital personnel, surgeons, nurses, and OR staff.
  • Onboard new technicians, orienting them to hospital protocols and procedures.
  • Provide on-the-job training for new hires and re-training for current staff.
  • Ensure high standards of decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
  • Maintain laparoscopic equipment, manage repairs, and replace instruments.
  • Keep surgeon preference cards up to date.
  • Demonstrate professionalism in service, communication, and teamwork.
  • Maintain CRCST certification and comply with all credentialing and training requirements.
  • Lead daily operations to support operational workflows.
  • Share best practices to integrate digital tools smoothly.

Requirements

  • CRCST or CBSPD certification (CBSPD certified must obtain CRCST within 120 days of employment).
  • Previous OR/SPD experience.
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with healthcare teams.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to anticipate needs.
  • Flexibility for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, holiday rotations, and on-call shifts.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
