About the Role
Surgical Solutions is seeking full-time Traveling Technicians to support surgical teams nationwide. This full-time role involves extensive travel, supporting new site launches, delivering operational excellence, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Travel across assigned territories to support new hospital accounts in operating room and sterile processing departments.
- Execute project plans for successful new account implementations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospital personnel, surgeons, nurses, and OR staff.
- Onboard new technicians, orienting them to hospital protocols and procedures.
- Provide on-the-job training for new hires and re-training for current staff.
- Ensure high standards of decontamination, inspection, assembly, wrapping, and sterilization of surgical instruments.
- Maintain laparoscopic equipment, manage repairs, and replace instruments.
- Keep surgeon preference cards up to date.
- Demonstrate professionalism in service, communication, and teamwork.
- Maintain CRCST certification and comply with all credentialing and training requirements.
- Lead daily operations to support operational workflows.
- Share best practices to integrate digital tools smoothly.
Requirements
- CRCST or CBSPD certification (CBSPD certified must obtain CRCST within 120 days of employment).
- Previous OR/SPD experience.
- High school diploma/GED.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to build rapport quickly with healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate needs.
- Flexibility for 24/7 hospital coverage, including weekday, weekend, holiday rotations, and on-call shifts.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 90% of the time.
