About the Role
Artsy seeks a proactive, organized Employee Experience Associate to manage day-to-day office operations and cultivate a welcoming, inclusive environment in the New York office. This full-time position reports to the Associate Director of People Operations. The role ensures the New York office runs smoothly, proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance employee experience. The Associate will collaborate with the People Team to foster a strong culture, including organizing team cohesion events. This position offers visibility across the business, supporting senior leadership and partnering with various teams to ensure smooth People team operations. The ideal candidate will be a reliable resource for New York employees, making their office experience productive and enjoyable.
Responsibilities
- Own ongoing office processes including kitchen and supply stocking, repairs, maintenance, and employee requests
- Proactively manage inventory for office supplies, food, and beverages
- Manage outside vendors including cleaning staff, repair workers, and deliveries
- Manage workplace systems like request tickets and hot desking
- Continuously improve office processes and employee experience by proactively identifying and addressing issues
- Collaborate with People Operations and IT Teams to prepare new New York hires for onboarding
- Partner with HR, IT, hiring, and Leadership teams to ensure smooth daily operations and strong cross-functional relationships
- Plan and execute events for the New York team, including those outside regular work hours
Requirements
- Currently located and authorized to work in New York
- Proactive approach to identifying needs and implementing process improvements
- Reliable, punctual, responsive, and able to meet deadlines
- Highly organized with attention to detail
- Self-starter capable of structuring work, finding solutions, and operating independently
- Strong prioritization skills to manage urgent matters effectively
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, maintain a solutions-focused approach
- Strong communication skills, comfortable interacting with diverse personalities and navigating feedback
- Hospitality mindset, friendly, gracious, and focused on teammate experience
- Ambitious with a desire to grow and take on broader ownership
