About the Role
This role is an entry point for technicians to gain experience, earn ASE certifications, and advance into higher-level mechanic roles within a supportive shop environment. It involves hands-on work with a variety of newer vehicles across multiple brands.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and light repair work on fleet vehicles.
- Conduct oil and fluid services.
- Perform tire changes and rotations.
- Execute basic repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
- Assist experienced technicians with additional repairs and diagnostics, depending on experience.
- Support vehicle availability and ensure a safe, dependable rental experience for customers.
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- At least 6 months of auto maintenance experience or automotive technical school coursework.
- Ability to obtain at least 1 ASE certification within the first year.
- Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels.
- Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit, and kneel frequently.
- Ability to enter, exit, and drive vehicles.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Regular, on-site presence required.
