About the Role
Responsible for the sales strategy of Comcast High Capacity Ethernet Networks, Internet, Video and Voice-based services to Government, Education and Medical institutions (G.E.M.) as well as complex enterprise customers. Works as part of a team to drive sales by focusing on acquisition, development and management of strategic prospective clients in designated territories. Designs and delivers live sales presentations to prospective strategic clients, develops relationships with clients and the community and positions the Comcast brand as key components of the sales strategy, in keeping with Comcast's touchstones. Has in-depth experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver face-to-face sales presentations on Comcast products and services.
- Exceed departmental financial and unit sales targets.
- Stay informed on competitive landscape and emerging technologies.
- Develop sales territory strategy, including identifying strategic partnerships and cultivating local affiliations.
- Generate new leads through prospecting activities like cold calling, canvassing, referrals, and partner relationships.
- Promote and position the Comcast brand within the territory.
- Retain customer base by ensuring a superior customer experience.
- Maintain and build customer relationships to drive retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure operational efficiencies and service levels.
- Maintain accurate sales records and prepare sales and activity reports.
- Attend out-of-office meetings with customers regularly.
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in significant matters.
- Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
- Work nights, weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary.
- Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.

- Knowledge of Data Networking Technologies, Functionality & Services (LAN, MAN, WAN, VPN).
- Knowledge of Networking Protocols (emphasis on Layers 1, 2, & 3).
- Knowledge of Customer Premise Equipment (voice & data).
- Knowledge of Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery concepts.
- Knowledge of E-rate Contracting Processes and Procedures.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion.

- California Pay Range: $70,200.00 USD - $140,833.33
- Targeted Commission: $75,000.00
