About the Role

Drive commerce by growing Dyson’s presence on 3rd party marketplaces, developing integrated customer experiences using best-in-class digital strategies and merchandising to generate sell-out velocity.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily responsibilities for all Dyson marketplaces.
  • Create, manage, and optimize marketplace listings.
  • Manage a team of Managers and Operations Managers covering category sales (Beauty, Home+Wearables), B-Grade (Dyson Renewed), Inventory Management, and operations SLA adherence.
  • Coordinate online marketplace marketing, including promotions, pricing optimization, and content creation.
  • Identify and resolve product, service, or marketplace issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with marketplace contacts.
  • Identify and communicate short-term and medium-term risks with proposed mitigation plans.
  • Lead business results reporting at defined cadences for internal teams, regional, or US LT.
  • Possess deep knowledge of Rithum and partner with IT to drive roadmap completion.
  • Drive cross-functional process improvement to ensure SLA adherence.
  • Deliver e-commerce financial goals for Dyson's marketplaces.
  • Deliver and exceed growth objectives for finished goods and parts across product categories.
  • Continuously monitor and improve systems to prevent fraud.
  • Partner with finance/supply chain to ensure unblocked orders and shipping within customer SLA.
  • Improve terms, cash flow, and digital marketing assets through negotiation.
  • Oversee online sales promotion program implementation and co-develop activity calendars aligned with retail plans, ensuring market competitiveness across direct channels.
  • Fulfill other duties as required.
  • Proactively engage in new activities relevant to the role.
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively.
  • Lead development of online merchandising strategies to drive marketplace engagement and commerce.
  • Identify and implement cross-sell and up-sell opportunities within customer journeys.
  • Build processes and calendars to communicate merchandising plans across the organization.
  • Manage content publishing to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Research and identify new marketplaces.
  • Act as a key stakeholder to deliver integrated sales and marketing plans for Dyson's marketplaces during planning processes.
  • Develop profitable online programs, including e-commerce range planning, promotions, and merchandising solutions to reduce refurbished inventory without channel conflicts.
  • Develop and execute testing roadmaps.
  • Build a culture of continuous learning through ongoing testing, measurement, and optimization on marketplace storefronts.
  • Embody the brand and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Serve as an active subject matter expert on marketplaces.
  • Support and mentor team members.
  • Write briefs for the central Web delivery team for content and capability development.
  • Ensure Dyson communications comply with IP, legal, and product team perspectives.
  • Perform digital project management.
  • Perform QA on all online product and offer launches.
  • Identify problems and develop solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5-7 years of online marketing experience with 1 or more major 3rd party marketplaces (eBay, Amazon, Walmart).
  • Experience managing P&L for an e-commerce site.
  • Experience onboarding a marketplace platform.
  • Strong understanding of the e-commerce equation and its impact.
  • Understanding of Paid Media.
  • Proven track record in digital project management.
  • Experience in digital creative development and account management in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience with Rithum or other cross-platform marketplace solutions (preferred).
  • Innovative thinker with proven Web Merchandising expertise.
  • Attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
  • Proactive mindset, continuously seeking improvements.
  • Ability to travel as needed (<20%).
  • Personable with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse personalities and skill sets.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
